As soon as we started taking the ECU out of the Jag we suspected it had been out before, some nuts not correctly tightened and the pollen filter shield broken to enable easy refitment. Once we had read the ECU we were indeed correct but on inspection the remap on the car while OK could still be improved so we installed our own software and sent the customer for a test drive. He returned having noticed more mid-range pull and overall smoother power delivery so we were happy there and proceeded to remap the gearbox which has added some more sparkle with faster smoother gearchanges and a smidge of mid-range torque
